I've had a few people ask me to share my camera collection...here it is! Minus my beloved 35mm Holga and another pola. It's clear that this is borderline hoarder status, so you'll be finding some of these in the shop over the next few weeks (hint, hint: starting tomorrow).
One of my favorite things about vintage cameras is that they're so unpredictable! Even if they're just regular old 35mm cameras, each one has its own little unique qualities when you go to develop the film and print the photos.

ReplyDeleteI collect: Budai, Paper Crane/Origami pieces (this all started when Jen and I were long distance! Every box she sent me had a paper crane inside, which I collected each and every one and since, it's been our thing!) Year stamped Christmas ornaments (same!) and recently, feathers.
I also have a hankering for collecting bottles. Soda, beer, other booze, etc. and stuff such as coffee/cocoa cannery and such... I don't, because that would all add up fast but I love bottle/can art (especially when used in arts n' crafts.)

haha, since these were taken from a distance, I thought they were little camera *necklaces* ha! what a collection, though :P

ReplyDeleteWOW. That is a LARGE collection! I used to collect things when I was younger but stopped doing it after a few years. I would say I still collect books though haha.

i love cameras, i wish i had a collection of them! i collect shot glasses... i have maybe over 30 some. i have no idea why i started collecting them, but i have ones from all over. and none of them have ever been used.
